How long should we perform the detox stage? The defined timeframe is 21 or 40 days, which is considered the optimal duration.
Why? 21 days is the amount of time typically required to break old habits.
40 days is a time unit that is well-known and significant in Judaism.
We often hear about people taking upon themselves various spiritual tasks for forty days, and for good reason.
The number 40 holds special importance; many customs and "Segulot" (spiritual remedies) are derived from the significance of this period.
Therefore, 40 days is the recommended duration—not by chance—to achieve a true cleansing of the body and to instill new, healthy habits!
So, which is better? Start with 21 days. Once you see the positive results and realize you are successfully managing the process, continue until the full 40 days are complete.
Note: Do not continue the detox process beyond 40 days! Our body requires balance, which we will discuss in the next stage.
Good luck!!
